The Chicago Wolves will sponsor Turtle Soup Racing stock car driver Stevie Campbell's racecar for the remainder of his racing season at the Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Ind., each Saturday this summer.
The Wolves logo is now plastered atop Campbell’s 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Late Model, while the number 94 – which signifies the team's inception in 1994 – runs on its sides.
All Chicago Wolves players will be required to wear protective visors beginning next season after the American Hockey League mandated their use at the Board of Governors Annual Meeting earlier this week. Every skater in the 27-team league, regardless of age or experience, will be required to use approved visors when the season opens in October.
Chicago Wolves left wing Karl Stewart has been named the team’s Dan Snyder Man of the Year for the second consecutive season in recognition of his commitment to community service.
The Chicago Wolves will host the rematch of “Wolves Ultimate Broomball,” pitting The Eric and Kathy Morning Show on 101.9 FM The Mix against Paul Konrad, Robin Baumgarten, Larry Potash, Marcella Raymond and a team from the WGN TV Morning News during the first intermission when the Wolves face off against the Iowa Stars on Sun., April 9, at 3 p.m.
