Shoe DriveThank you fans for helping the team, in conjunction with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC), recycle over 2,000 pairs of shoes!

 

You helped prevent thousands of shoes from taking up space in our landfills. The rubber soles will be recycled and broken down, then turned into playing surfaces for tracks, basketball courts and parks. Chicago’s Foster Park track is made from recycled kicks and hopefully many more of are to come!

 

Fans received a raffle ticket to win a pair of game-used, autographed skates for every pair brought in.

 

Worn out. Play on. Turn your old sports shoes into places to plat.
